The Internet Dictionary Project (IDP) (http://www.june29.com/IDP/) has an extensive vocabulary list from English to Latin. We wish to thank Tyler Chambers, Senior Manager of the IDP, for making this work available for general public use.
The IDP Latin list has been converted for use in newSLATE, and can be found in the publicly available newSLATE access area called "IDP Latin".
The IDP Latin vocabulary list has been divided alphabetically to provide multiple lists of several hundred words each. To practice directly with these (large) files, we recommend using the multiple choice, matching or build a word quizzes. For more focussed practice, copy a file to your own newSLATE account, and create your own smaller files with just those terms you need to learn.
To use these files, log into newSLATE by clicking on the "click to enter" graphic at the top left of any regular newSLATE web page. Then,
