From the newSLATE home screen^*, select [take a quiz].  Next, click on the type of quiz you want: alphabetize words, build a word, completion, matching, or multiple choice.

The list of files and folders on the right will now display only the learning materials files which are compatible with the quiz type you selected.  Select one or more files, and click [ok] to create your quiz.  Your quiz will automatically load.  After the quiz loads, you can click on the ? in the blue-gray bar at the bottom of the quiz screen for more information about the particular quiz type you chose.
