All materials at this site, including the newSLATE software, are provided "AS IS" and without any kind of warranty.  In no event will ZigZag, Inc. be liable for any damages of any kind, from any cause, arising from the use of materials or software at or downloaded from the newSLATE web site, or arising from the loss, or unauthorized use by third parties, of any materials stored at or downloaded from the newSLATE web site, even if ZigZag, Inc. has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The newSLATE web site and the newSLATE software are owned by ZigZag, Inc.  Materials stored in newSLATE accounts belong to their authors.  Copying, reproducing, transmitting or distributing any material obtained from the newSLATE web site is prohibited, except for the following:

You may download any number of copies of the newSLATE web pages and software for personal use.  You may not alter the material; no copyright, trademark, patent or other proprietary notices may be removed from the material.  Decompiling, reverse engineering or in any way producing a human-readable form of the newSLATE software is forbidden.  The design of the newSLATE web site is protected by trade dress and other laws; you may not copy or imitate it. 

You may use materials prepared by others and stored at the newSLATE web site only under the conditions determined by their authors.

You may not use your newSLATE account for any unlawful purposes. 

ZigZag, Inc. reserves the right to suspend without notice the use of any account.  In particular, any account containing materials which are publicly accessible, or which is used to send unsolicited materials to other newSLATE users, and concerning which complaints are received may be suspended.

ZigZag, Inc. cannot accept any creative information for games, art, or other products that it has not specifically requested.  This is to avoid any misunderstandings about possible future works that may seem similar to your ideas.  If you nonetheless send any kind of creative information to ZigZag, Inc., that information will be deemed and will remain the property of ZigZag, Inc. and ZigZag, Inc. will retain all rights to that information.

This agreement is effective until terminated by ZigZag, Inc. or by you.  You may terminate this agreement at any time by destroying all copies of the material obtained from the newSLATE web site.  If you fail to comply with any provision of this agreement, this agreement will terminate immediately, without notice from ZigZag, Inc., and all of your newSLATE accounts will be deleted.  Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the material obtained from the newSLATE website. 

ZigZag, Inc. is located in the State of Maryland, United States of America.  This agreement is to be construed, interpreted and governed by the laws of that jurisdiction.
